Pastor Gary Beadles was born in Illinois and raised in Monterey, California. His father served in the U.S. Army for twenty years and taught his children to love our country, honor our military, and serve God. As a twenty year old young man who did not yet know the Lord as his Savior, Pastor Beadles set out to travel the entire nation. The Lord eventually led him to Memphis, TN where he heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ and began attending Bethel Baptist Church and Tri-State Baptist College. While in Bible college, he met his wife, Jan, and they were married in October of 1981. It was also during this time that he received Christ as Savior.
Pastor Beadles served faithfully at Bethel Baptist Church for twenty years as a bus captain, the director of the Kids for Jesus children’s church ministry, and later as Bus Director. In 1995, he accepted the call to serve as Associate Pastor of Central Baptist Church in Decatur, Illinois. During his eighteen years there, he also served as the Youth Pastor, Bus Director, Camp Director, and Children’s Church Director.
In February of 2013, Pastor Beadles accepted the call to become the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church and moved from Illinois with his wife and youngest son one month later. In March of 2023, the people of Calvary Baptist Church celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the Lord bringing Pastor Beadles to us!
The Lord miraculously blessed Pastor Beadles and his wife Jan with four children. Their oldest son Timothy, his wife Sarah, and their 2 sons and daughter reside in Independence, Mo. where he serves at New Hope Baptist Church as the Youth Pastor and Choir Director. Their daughter, Sarah, teaches at Bible Baptist Academy in Terre Haute, Indiana, and serves as the church pianist. Jonathan and his wife, Ashley, are missionaries in Colombia, South America. Andrew and his wife Cheyenne along with their daughter live here in Coldwater, Mississippi where he serves as the Assistant Pastor here at Calvary. Pastor and Mrs. Beadles have sought to raise their children for the Lord, and they desire to help the families of Calvary Baptist Church know Jesus as their Savior and serve Him as Lord. They would love to meet you and your family as you come and visit Calvary Baptist Church!
