Our theme verse for November is Acts 12:25, “I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”  John 3:16 shows that our God is a loving God Who shows His love by……giving. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  Just as Jesus proved the sincerity of His love for us by giving, so giving is a way for us to prove our love for Him. This month we will learn Biblical principles of why we are to give and how to do that. A highlight of this month is our Thanks-Giving Offering. We are challenged to give our Saviour a special offering above our tithes and regular offerings. This has always been a blessed time for our members each year! May we also remember to give thanks to our great God Who is so very worthy of our praise and thanks.  We can never praise or thank Him enough for what He has done for us.
