Bro. Hardwick and his family have been friends and such a blessing to Calvary Baptist Church for several years. He is a preacher of the gospel who yearns to preach whenever he gets a chance and is able!  Bro. Kevin has been battling cancer which has left him with minimal speaking ability. In spite of this he preached for our March 19th, Sunday AM service and did a fabulous job! Though not able to understand every word most of us understood much more than we did not understand! God used him that morning to encourage and challenge us to use what we have for His service and glory. If Bro. Kevin can do this with his difficulties, surely we who have our health can serve God much more than we do.  What we could not understand verbally as Bro. Kevin preached, his heart and spirit spoke loud and clear to us. Mrs. Amy Hardwick and their children truly reflect God’s grace in this trial. Their love and committment to each other as a family and to the Lord is so apparent. What sweet spirits they all have!  May we all strive to follow their examples when our trials come. God certainly used him and his family that Sunday AM!
