This week we began our annual Faith Promise Missions Conference. This is one of the highlights of our year here at Calvary. The purpose of this conference is to help all of us to see the need to help missionaries get to their field of service and to challenge us to give our offerings to support these worthy servants of our Lord as they serve in their areas of the world. Our guest missionaries this year will be the Clifford Keister family and the Chris Lanier family. The Keisters are on deputation to go to Italy and the Chris Lanier family are missionaries to Mexico. Our guest preacher is Bro. Michael Williams. He and his wife and family have been in full time missions for seventeen years having served in Ghana, West Africa and Germany. He is founder of GEMS (Global Evangelism Ministry Services) a local church ministry whose goal is to help equip missionaries for service in their field. It is modelled after Hudson Taylor’s China Inland Mission. The conference is Wednesday, March 6 through Sunday, March 10. Service times are Wed. and Thurs. at 7 PM, Fri. at 6 PM, Sunday AM at 9:30 and 10:30, Sunday PM at 6 PM. On Friday evening is our International Supper in conjunction with our evening service. Saturday will be our weekly soul winning outreach at 10 AM. (There will be no service Saturday PM.) All are invited…don’t miss any of this! It will be a tremendous conference as always!
